These Ferri Glassati are delicious shortbread biscuits frosted at the ends with cocoa fondant. These fragrant pastries are ideal for breakfast with a nice latte or tea, or even as an evening treat with a hot herbal tea.

INGREDIENTS

• Shortcrust pastry: wheat flour type ‘00’ (41%); vegetable fat (coconut); sugar; water; vegetable oil (sunflower); pasteurised eggs (2%); maize starch; vegetable fibre; salt; emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; acidity regulator: citric acid; flavours (contains soya, milk, hazelnut, sesame).
  Cocoa icing (18%): sugar; vegetable fat (coconut); low-fat cocoa powder (15%, corresponding to 2.7% of the finished product); cocoa butter; emulsifier: soy lecithin.
