Sandemè is the new cosmetic line of the Opificio Erboristico Sandemetrio that was born from the great passion for medicinal herbs of its founder, Giuseppe Ricchiuto, which he has been carrying on for fifty years.
The birth of this company is based in Salento, more precisely in the ancient village of Specchia, the place where the ancient Basilian monks, led by Friar Demetrio, settled and gave life to cultivations of medicinal herbs rich in beneficial properties.
This farming tradition that has been handed down to the present day has resulted in excellent quality products such as creams and cleansers that we can find in our daily lives. These products are in fact created from natural ingredients, studied and processed in the Opificio's Botanical Garden, with a selection of over fourhundred species of medicinal herbs, all respected in their vegetative cycles.

The basic ingredient of the new Sandemè cosmetic line is Green Coffee, which is highly rich in active components with toning, nourishing, brightening, antioxidant, emollient and protective properties.
In fact, Green Coffee is rich in polyphenols such as chlorogenic acid, tannic acid and ferulic acid, antioxidants that neutralise free radicals, counteracting cellular ageing, making it an ideal ingredient for the wellbeing of the skin.
These substances are extracted from selected beans that are not subjected to roasting using the best laboratory techniques, keeping the properties of coffee unaltered.
